Oregon Environmental Council
OEC's 50th anniversary came at a time when environmentalists felt defeated because of national and global setbacks. OEC saw this as an opportunity to encourage all OEC supporters—from original members to younger, energized millennials—that positive change was still possible, because they'd already come so far. OEC developed the name, tagline and mood for their fundraising gala, and I did the rest. The highlight was a 16-page ‘zine invitation to celebrate all they’ve accomplished in 50 years. I also created some auxiliary pieces and helped their internal designer execute environmental graphics for the big night.
